After Amber Glenn’s missteps in her routine, it’s Alysa Liu who represents Team USA’s best chance at a medal in the women’s singles entering the free skate portion of the event later this week. Here’s Liu, currently in third place, with NBC:
💬 “I wish it was longer. Although I definitely don’t want the short program to be longer, I do wish I was out there longer to take in the moment some more. It was a great feeling. … I’m really confident in myself, and even if I mess up and fall, that’s totally OK, too. I’m fine with any outcome, as long as I’m out there. And I am. There’s nothing to lose.”
