Strictly Come Dancing star JB Gill’s wife was taken aback after finding “weird” messages on his phone. JLS singer JB met Chloe when she was working as a backing dancer in 2008.
Their relationship flourished and the pair tied the knot in 2014. The couple now share son Ace and daughter Chiara together. On the Netmums podcast with Ranvir Singh, JB revealed he often finds himself speaking to other parents at the school run or when taking his children to classes.

It has however resulted in parents attempting to strike up a conversation in his private messages. The 39-year-old however admits “I don’t read my DMs” with Chloe instead handling his messages.
It led to one “weird” moment where a woman dropped him a message, only for it to be read by Chloe. JB explains she “wasn’t happy” when she read it.
He said: “I promise you, this was years ago, we were doing swimming lessons with Ace, and I very rarely took Ace swimming Chloe did the bulk of it, and I took Ace swimming and the girlfriend or wife of the swimming teacher DMed me basically saying, ‘It’s amazing that Ace is doing swimming, you guys should come over for dinner.’ And all this sort of stuff.
“It was like the personal connection and I was like, ‘No, this is weird.’ And Chloe obviously wasn’t happy about it. For me, I would just have a conversation with somebody.”

The conversation came after Good Morning Britain star Ranvir, who shares 13-year-old son Tushaan with ex-husband Ranjeet Dehal, explained she “struggles” when it comes to maintaining personal friendships with other parents.
She said: “As he gets older, he doesn’t want to sit on the sofa under a duvet and watch a Disney film with you, they want to be doing stuff, he wants to be doing active stuff. So for that reason I’ve made a really good effort to try and be friends with parents.
“But I do struggle, and this is a moment of honesty, I do struggle to maintain friendships with parents when you know you’re only friends because the kids are friends, and sometimes there have been the odd occasions where I have remained friends even when our children have slightly drifted apart, and that has sometimes been the beauty of the odd friendship here and there.”
Ranvir went on to reveal she gets “incredibly self conscious” when she is speaking to the dads at the school gate.

She said: “I felt that since he was a baby, I’ve always felt incredibly self conscious chatting too long to the dad or whatever. I always felt like I don’t want anyone to think I’m honing in. It’s in my head.”
JB however, who finished runner-up on the 2024 edition of Strictly, confessed he is a “very open person” and enjoys chatting with other parents.
He said: “I’m a very open person and I’ll go up to someone and have a chat and I’ll stand waiting for the kids to come out and just be like, ‘Hi Ranvir, how’re you? How’s Tushaan getting on?’ And all that sort of stuff and I suppose that’s probably part of, I guess, my work and my career and how I’ve developed as an individual.
“But for me, if I know that your child is in my child’s class and they have a relationship with each other and I know who that child is, for me, I’m going to inquire about it, it’s not me trying to be forward or anything like that.”
