Metallica announces new residency at Sphere Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Metallica is officially taking over Sphere Las Vegas this fall.
The legendary metal band announced the “Life Burns Faster” residency at the venue, with eight shows planned for October.
Tickets go on sale March 6. Fans can register online at metallica.lnk.to/MetallicaSphere.
“Life Burns Faster” will use the “no repeat weekend” tradition, meaning no songs will be repeated on each Thursday and Saturday throughout the course of the run.
Sphere says Metallica’s residency will feature live staples and surprises spanning the band’s catalog.
“This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting,” co-founder and drummer Lars Ulrich said in a news release. “We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way [expletive] psyched to go next level!”
Metallica’s hit songs include “Enter Sandman,” “Master of Puppets,” “Nothing Else Matters” and “Fade to Black.” The band has sold more than 163 million albums worldwide.
