On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, The Royal Hall in Nicosia will host one of the most anticipated nights on Cyprus’ social calendar: the 24th Bank of Cyprus Man of the Year Awards, honoring the “Best of the Year” for 2025.
Now in its 24th year, the awards remain Cyprus’ largest and longest-running recognition institution. Since 2001, the event has spotlighted pioneering men whose work, perseverance, vision and integrity have broken new ground, whether in science, the arts, sports or business. These are individuals who lead by example, who inspire, and whose contribution goes beyond personal success.
At its core, the institution celebrates substance over surface. Far from superficial recognition, the process has remained consistent over the years, designed to highlight knowledge, ethos and meaningful impact rather than publicity or commercial appeal.
Each year, nominees are selected by the editorial team of MAN magazine. Winners in each voting category are determined equally, 50% by specialized research firm IMR and 50% by prominent personalities from Cypriot society.

This year’s ceremony promises a dynamic atmosphere, elevated by a special performance from acclaimed Greek singer Elli Kokkinou, who will present a program curated exclusively for the event.
