On night three in Glasgow Luke Littler suffered the joint-heaviest defeat of his Premier League Darts career, losing 6-1 to Jonny Clayton.
But the world champion bounced back a few days later as he won the inaugural Poland Darts.
Littler defeated Gian van Veen 8-4 in the final in Krakow as he hit seven 180s and averaged just over 108.
Van Veen threw the first televised nine-darter of his career, but was unable to stop Littler from claiming a fifth European Tour title and the £35,000 first prize.
“It’s been a very good weekend for myself,” said Littler.
“I felt really good throughout the tournament. In the first three weeks of the Premier League I’ve not felt the best, so I definitely needed this one.”
Littler begins night four in Belfast with a rematch against Clayton.
