Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery create new UK-wide festival

The Music Venue Trust has teamed up with The National Lottery to create a new UK-wide festival, Everywhere At Once.
The festival will take place from 26th to 28th June, on what would be Glastonbury weekend, which is taking a fallow year. It will see over 500 grassroots music venues across the UK putting on over 1,200 gigs.
Donned “the UK’s biggest festival on your doorstep”, venues from Inverness to Penzance will host major artists, touring acts and “the most exciting emerging local talent.”
A partnership between the UK charity and The National Lottery, a long-standing supporter of grassroots music, the festival is also supported by Save Our Scene, Liveline, and the Association of Independent Promoters.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Music Venue Trust said: “Live music does not just belong in stadiums or on farmland this summer. It belongs in YOUR town, in YOUR community, in the spaces that nurture artists and audiences year-round.”
MVT CEO Mark Davyd said: “This is a hugely significant moment for the grassroots music sector. Seeing hundreds of venues come together across one weekend shows the true strength and scale of the network that underpins live music in the UK.
“Together, this sends a clear message: live music doesn’t just happen in major cities or festival fields – it happens on our high streets, in our towns, and in the spaces communities rely on. This is what solidarity looks like in action, and it sets a powerful benchmark for what we can achieve when venues move forward together.”
Operator of The National Lottery, Alastair Ruxton, said: “This partnership with Music Venue Trust recognises the essential role Grassroots Music Venues and promoters play in supporting new artists and talent across the industry and their role in so many communities.
“The Everywhere At Once festival will have more stages, and highlight more artists, than any field can across the summer and create a uniting moment for communities up and down the country to come together and enjoy incredible live music.”
Audiences will be able to support a range of music charities when buying their tickets, with donations going to War Child, Nordoff and Robbins, Help Musicians UK, and Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Music Venue Trust is a registered UK charity which serves to protect, secure, and improve the UK’s grassroots music venues for the benefit of venues, communities, and upcoming artists.
Since 2019, The National Lottery has supported venues, festivals and promoters, recording studios and rehearsal spaces, as well as sector bodies operating in grassroots music, via an investment programme.
Full details of all gigs for Everywhere At Once will be announced soon.
