Nathan Jones set to leave it late with defender decision

Nathan Jones revealed that Lloyd Jones is a doubt for Charlton’s upcoming clash against Wrexham.
His fitness will be assessed closer to kick off.
The Charlton boss said: “We’ll have to assess Lloyd tomorrow. He rolled his ankle. We won’t gamble with him because we gambled with him twice and it didn’t pay off.”

Charlton have only lost one in their last six matches. Speaking on his side’s current form, Jones said: “We’d have liked to have had more points. We’ve had some tough games.
“The Portsmouth game we’ve let ourselves down a little bit. But, to go away and get two points at two difficult places West Brom and Southampton you probably would have taken that because of the size of the club pedigree.
“Now we have two home games and we have to try and capitalise on that.”

The Addicks are currently 18th, seven points clear of the relegation zone. Jones insisted that he wants a strong end to the season and not just crawl to safety. He said: “I want us to finish strong and see how high we can finish.”
