‘The yard won’t be the same’ – Tributes to popular haulier Sean Kelly

His death has been met with deep sadness across the Fermanagh community and the wider trucking fraternity.
Mr Kelly, of 73 Station Road, Derryaghna, Letterbreen, died on Thursday, February 26, while out on the road.
Widely known and respected among colleagues, he has been described as a familiar and much-loved figure whose absence will be keenly felt both personally and professionally.
One online tribute captured the sense of loss felt by many: “Sean sadly lost his life while on the road, doing the job we all do. He’ll be remembered for the chats, the stories, and the nights of crack. The yard won’t be the same without him.”
A devoted family man, Mr Kelly was the loving husband of Siobhan and a proud father to Catherine (Adrian), Shannan, Michael (Cailin), Maria and Joanne. He was also a cherished grandfather to D’arcy and Casey.
He is further survived by his brothers Jim (Carmel), Jackson (Scan), Eamon (Ursula), Colm (Una), Aidan (Nadiane), Maurice (Samantha) and John (Bernie), his sisters Helen (Philip) and Pauline (Brendan), and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.
Mr Kelly will repose at his home in Letterbreen on Sunday from 12 noon to 8pm and on Monday from 2pm to 6pm.
His funeral will take place on Tuesday, with removal at 10.15am to St Mary’s Church, Arney, for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
