Amen Thompson suffered an ankle injury during Monday’s game against the Washington Wizards. He exited to the locker room and does not have a return status yet.
The severity of the injury is unknown, but it’s likely Thompson sits the remainder of the game. Houston was leading 104-86 with eight minutes remaining in the fourth at the time of the injury.
Thompson is a major piece to the Rockets’ roster, so his absence would be detrimental moving forward. He had 22 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 31 minutes on Monday.
