Live updates: 2026 primary election results for NC and Triangle

Here are the unofficial results for North Carolina statewide, congressional and legislative races, as well as local Triangle contests, for the 2026 primary election.

The charts below include results reported by elections officials for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, N.C. Senate, N.C. House of Representatives, N.C. Court of Appeals and races in Durham, Orange and Wake counties and the city of Raleigh.

Winners of a primary will move on to the Nov. 3 general election, where most will face an opponent from the other major party.

Polling locations in North Carolina close at 7:30 p.m., but voting was extended till 8:30 p.m. due to a problem setting up at a polling place Tuesday morning.
