2026 Air Force Reserve CAA Men’s Basketball Championship Bracket Locked In on Tuesday

RICHMOND, Va. – The 13-team bracket has been set for the 2026 Air Force Reserve CAA Men’s Basketball Championship, to be played March 6-10 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
 
UNCW captured the CAA Regular Season Championship outright with a 76-57 win over Elon, marking their 10th regular season crown. The Seahawks will be the No. 1 seed entering the postseason slate. Charleston and Hofstra earned the second and third seed, respectively, each putting together identical 21-10 campaigns.
 
Monmouth enters the conference postseason slate as the fourth seed after securing the coveted double-bye following its 89-83 victory over Northeastern.
 
The postseason slate will begin with a First Round showdown on Friday, as No. 12 North Carolina A&T (11-18, 4-14) faces No. 13 Northeastern (6-23, 2-16) at 2 p.m.
 
The winner of Friday’s contest will join the remaining seven teams who secured a spot in Saturday’s Second Round. The afternoon of March 7 will open with No. 8 Stony Brook (17-14, 9-9) taking on No. 9 Campbell (14-17, 8-10) at 12 p.m., with No. 5 Drexel (16-15, 10-8) and the winner of the N.C. A&T/Northeastern game to follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday’s evening session will begin with No. 7 Towson (17-14, 9-9) facing No. 10 Hampton (13-18, 7-11) at 6 p.m., before No. 6 William & Mary (19-11, 10-8) plays No. 11 Elon (14-17, 6-12) at 8:30 p.m.
 
Top-seeded UNCW (26-5, 15-3) will open Sunday’s Quarterfinal competition at Noon with No. 4 Monmouth (17-14, 11-7) to follow at 2:30 p.m. The evening session will feature No. 2 Charleston (21-10, 14-4) at 6 p.m. and No. 3 Hofstra (21-10, 12-6) at 8:30 p.m.; all four teams will take on the winners of Saturday matchups.
 
The semifinals will be played Monday, March 10, at 6 and 8:30 p.m., with the CAA Championship game tipping off Tuesday, March 11, at 7 p.m.
