Crime thriller fans absolutely need to check out one of the genre’s best releases, as this Netflix series has no bad seasons. Netflix’s crime thriller series are often among the show’s best. That serves for both multi-season shows, and Netflix’s prestige limited series. For instance, when it comes to the most popular TV shows on Netflix of all time, both types are present.

Representing a limited thriller series on the list is Adolescence, which broke format rules to tell its story in one continuous take. As for multi-season series of the genre, The Night Agent is on the coveted Netflix list. The spy thriller series is a good example of a Netflix show with no bad seasons, just like an already finished series.

This Netflix Crime Thriller Series Has No Bad Seasons

Ozark season 1 was released on Netflix on July 21, 2017. The crime thriller series ran for four seasons, with its final set of episodes arriving on Netflix on April 29, 2022. The Netflix series is filled with intense moments and shocking twists, as characters drop like flies and Marty has to find a way to protect his family while growing his money laundering scheme. With the authorities closing in on the operation, all bets are off. Additionally, Marty has to deal with Julia Garner’s Ruth Langmore, a local who snakes her way into the illegal business.

Ozark just keeps getting better as it moves forward, given that Marty slowly immerses himself in the criminal world, which makes for exciting TV. While Ozark season 1 might have the lowest critics’ score of the show, it is not a bad season at all, far from it. Ozark season 1 perfectly introduces the crime thriller series’ world by slowly putting the pieces together and taking its time to make sure that both the story and the characters are well-rounded. There is also plenty of action.

Right from the premiere, new viewers should be hooked by Ozark. The Netflix series’ first episode does a phenomenal job of showing just how intense and deadly the show can get, with Jason Bateman setting the tone, both as the main star and the director, of how the series will shape up to be. With no bad seasons and a dramatic start, Ozark is a masterpiece.
