Sienna Miller thinks relationships between older women and younger men should be “normalized” and not “fetishized,” she said in an interview published Monday by Grazia. The 44-year-old actress, who’s dating 29-year-old actor Oli Green, talked about landing major roles early in her career, remembering that she was “21 and auditioning to be the love interest of a 45-year-old man.” Since then, she said, “Things have moved on … but the idea of an older woman with a younger man, for example, is still fetishized rather than normalized — there’s a disparity there that I would love to see disappear.”

Miller has been in a relationship with Green for at least three years. They have one daughter, who was born in late 2023, and they announced in December they are expecting a second child. Miller also has a 13-year-old daughter whom she shares with her ex-fiancé Tom Sturridge. In 2024, Miller told Harper’s Bazaar that Green’s “generation of men respect women” and “have grown up with a slightly more level playing field,” adding that she’s learned “from people who are younger about how clear they are in their boundaries, having that self-assuredness and self-advocacy, having ‘no’ in the repertoire in a way that we just weren’t encouraged to have.”

Miller is far from the only famous woman who wants to normalize dating a 20-something. Over the summer, Kathy Griffin, who is 65, revealed she fell in love with a 23-year-old following her divorce from her second husband, Randy Bick. Meanwhile, Charlize Theron, who’s 50, told Call Her Daddy last year that she had “really fucking amazing” sex with a 26-year-old. Sounds like a ringing endorsement.
