Ford to recall nearly 605,000 vehicles in US over windshield wiper issue, NHTSA says

March 5 (Reuters) – Ford is recalling ‌604,533 vehicles in ‌the U.S. because the windshield wiper motor may fail, reducing visibility and increasing ‌the risk of a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Thursday.

Separately, the ‌U.S. automaker is also recalling 11,431 U.S. vehicles as driveshaft friction weld ‌may fail, resulting in rear driveshaft separation ‌and a sudden loss of drive power, NHTSA said.
