USA TODAY’s Saman Shafiq was invited to try Chick-Fil-A’s newest menu items coming to the chain in spring 2026.
Spring arrived early at Chick-fil-A, which dropped its seasonal menu, with jalapeños and strawberries taking center stage.
The fast-food chain is adding a Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich and strawberry hibiscus-flavored beverages to its menu for a limited time as part of its “yearlong ‘Newstalgia’-inspired celebrations, blending familiar favorites with fresh new twists to surprise and delight.”
“This year is all about taking the classics that our guests know and love, and surprising them with reimagined flavor combinations, the Chick-fil-A way,” Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A’s director of menu and packaging, said in a statement.
Chick-fil-A said the limited-time pairing delivers “the perfect balance of subtle heat and sweet, just in time for the warmer weather.”
What’s in the Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich?
“Loaded with flavor,” the spring menu’s highlight is the Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich, which combines classic “ranch flavors with a Chick-fil-A twist,” according to the chain. The sandwich includes pepper jack cheese, caramelized onion-flavored candied bacon strips, lettuce, tomato, and pickled jalapeños, all housed in a buttermilk ranch bun with Chick-fil-A’s signature filet in original, spicy, or grilled. The sandwich is served with a side of creamy jalapeño ranch sauce to “dial up the heat.”
“Ranch is such a familiar flavor, so we wanted to deliver that in every bite of the new sandwich, but in a way that feels new and unique with customizable heat that delivers just the right kick,” Duncan said.
Chick-fil-A said the Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich is making its nationwide debut after following a successful test in Salt Lake City in 2025.
‘Sip into spring’ with strawberry hibiscus beverages
Complementing the sandwich are four new strawberry hibiscus beverages that offer “fresh new ways to sip into spring.” The drinks are:
- Strawberry Hibiscus & Sprite: A crisp and refreshing mix of Sprite mixed with strawberry and hibiscus flavors.
- Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade: A mix of Chick-fil-A’s classic lemonade (or diet lemonade) with strawberry and hibiscus flavors.
- Strawberry Hibiscus Frosted Lemonade: A combination of Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and signature Icedream dessert mixed with strawberry and hibiscus flavors.
- Strawberry Hibiscus Sunjoy: This blends Chick-fil-A’s Sunjoy beverage, which includes lemonade and freshly brewed sweetened iced tea with strawberry and hibiscus flavors.

Chick-fil-A’s spring menu will begin rolling out at the restaurant’s locations nationwide starting March 9.
80 years of Chick-fil-A
2026 marks a landmark year for Chick-fil-A, which is celebrating 80 years since the business started cooking.
The Georgia-based fast-food chain kicked off its “Newstalgia” celebrations in January and plans to celebrate its “80-year heritage of quality, service and care” throughout 2026.
The “Newstalgia” campaign serves up “beloved classics alongside fresh new twists, fun guest experiences and moments of surprise and delight, from the new permanent Frosted Sodas and Floats to Classic Cups, merchandise and all-new, retro packaging,” Chick-fil-A said.
