Ducks sign Ryan Poehling to four-year extension

Anaheim announced Thursday that it had agreed to terms with Poehling on a four-year extension that begins in the 2026-27 NHL season. Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported that the deal carries an average annual value of $3.75 million.
Poehling, 27, has seven goals and 17 assists in 54 games with the Ducks this season.
Originally drafted in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft by the Montreal Canadiens, Poehling has played with five organizations in seven seasons.
He was traded to the Ducks as part of the return for Trevor Zegras last off-season.
“I really enjoy the area, and everyone in the Anaheim area has treated me so well.”
The Ducks enter play Thursday night second in the Pacific Division with a 34-24-3 record.
