How to Watch
Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
Last week, Heated Rivalry‘s Connor Storrie made his SNL hosting debut on February 25, and he turned out to be a natural, even bringing an original character he’d performed before to the night’s final sketch, “Stripper.”
Now, all eyes are on the next new episode, the 14th of the season. But who’s scheduled to host, and who’s the Musical Guest?
We’ve got all the details, below.

Ryan Gosling.
It’s time to get excited: The three-time Academy Award nominee and Barbie actor is hosting the March 7 episode of SNL! That’s right; the star of many viral sketches will return to Studio 8H for the first time since 2024. And just like the man himself, Gosling’s comedy chops are only getting better with age.

How many times Has Ryan Gosling Been on SNL?
Four, including a cameo — and soon to be five.
Gosling’s upcoming March 7 gig will mark his fourth time hosting SNL and his first since Season 49. Here’s the full list of every time the star has hosted:
- December 5, 2015 with (Leon Bridges as musical guest)
- September 30, 2017 (with Jay-Z)
- April 13, 2024 (with Chris Stapleton)
Once Gosling takes the stage on March 7, he’ll be only one episode away from joining the SNL Five-Timers Club, a group that includes sketch comedy legends like Martin Short, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, and countless others. Though he’s already took part in an induction, as he made a surprise appearance during Kristen Wiig’s Season 49 monologue alongside actual members. Watch that here.
Of course, you can’t even cite Gosling’s epic April 13, 2024, episode without mentioning the epic Beavis and Butt-head sketch that gave new meaning to the phrase “cast break.” It might’ve been the biggest giggle fest since Debbie Downer.

Who is Saturday Night Live‘s March 7 Musical Guest?
Gorillaz will join Gosling as the musical guests, playing SNL for the first time in the band’s 25-year career. Fronted by four cartoon avatars and led by Blur frontman Damon Albarn, they’ve featured dozens of big-name guests over nine studio albums, including 2026’s The Mountain. We’ll have to see who joins them on Saturday.

Gosling will be promoting his upcoming film Project Hail Mary during his SNL appearance — and he hasn’t waited until March 7 to plug the movie every chance he gets.
In a February 14 Instagram post, his wife, actress Eva Mendes, shared an SNL-esque video chat between her husband and cast member Mikey Day that had fans counting down the days until Beavis and Butt-head themselves will share the small screen again.
Something tells us that Gosling’s fourth stint as SNL host will be his most memorable yet.
