Huge Update on Colton Parayko Revealed Friday Morning

Colton Parayko made big headlines around the NHL on Thursday by announcing that he was invoking his no-trade clause and was turning down a trade to the Buffalo Sabres. The St. Louis Blues had reached that tentative agreement on Wednesday night.
We then heard that he was still open to approving a trade to one of two prefered destinations on the West Coast. But a big development this morning has been revealed.
TSN Insider Pierre LeBrun tells us that Parayko won’t be going anywhere today.
Colton Parayko does not intend on waiving his no trade clause today, per @PierreVLeBrun. All indications are he stays in St. Louis for now. #Stlblues

“My understanding is, this morning here, checking in on that, that he doesn’t intend on waiving at all for anyone else either,” said LeBrun on TSN’s Trade Centre. “So, all indications are Colton Parayko will stay put in St. Louis through this deadline, but obviously to be revisited this off-season.’
Parayko has four more years to run on his eight-year deal in St. Louis with a full no-trade clause for another two years, then it reverts to a 15-team no-trade list for the final two seasons of the deal.
As for the Sabres, stung by the 6-foot-6 Parayko’s big refusal to move, they have since pivoted and added another version of size to their blueline, by trading for both 6’7″ Logan Stanley and 6’2″ Luke Schenn from the Winnipeg Jets.
