Ryan Wohl breaks down his best bet for Sumudaerji vs. Jesus Aguilar which is taking place at UFC 326.

The final fight of the UFC 326 Early Prelims sees Sumudaerji vs. Jesus Aguilar in a three-round Flyweight contest. Aguilar has won four of his previous five contests, while Sumudaerji is currently riding a two-fight winning streak.

Check out my best bet for Sumudaerji vs. Jesus Aguilar on the UFC 326 Early Prelims.

When first looking at this matchup, the size difference jumps off the page. Sumudaerji is four inches taller (5’8″ vs. 5’4″) while possessing a massive 10-inch reach advantage (72″ vs. 62″). Also on the feet, Sumudaerji is a much better striker, landing 1.83 more significant strikes per minute and being 12 percent more accurate with his punches.

Aguilar’s best advantage in this fight is on the ground as he averages 1.64 takedowns per 15 minutes, compared to Sumudaerji’s 0.16. But with Sumudaerji’s 71 percent takedown defense, it will present problems for Aguilar.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Sumudaerji is a -205 favorite while Aguilar is +170 to win the fight. This bout is -160 to go to the judges scoecards and +120 for a finish to occur. Sumudaerji has won two straight fights by decison with four of his five victories inside the UFC Octagon coming by decision. This has all the makings of a one-sided fight; if Sumudaerji can keep Aguilar at range and not allow him to close the distance.
