LINCOLN, Neb. (KNOP) – Part of I-80 westbound was closed on Sunday due to weather-related conditions.
According to the Nebraska 511, I-80 westbound between mile marker 105 near Big Springs and Exit 55 near Sidney is closed.
According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, winter weather conditions moving through Nebraska and surrounding states have prompted multiple closures. As of this moment, Wyoming closures are leading to interstate closures in Western Nebraska.
Along with weather, NDOT warned against the fires across Nebraska, and warned drivers to avoid travelling if possible.
