NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Strong winds have been blowing across Middle Tennessee Sunday ahead of severe storms later in the evening.
Just before 6 p.m., the Nashville Fire Department responded to 1211 51st Avenue North for reports of wind lifting the roof from the building.
NFD told WSMV that wind peel part of the roof from the building before dropping it back down. The building did not sustain any major damage in the incident.

No injuries were reported.
The building houses three businesses, and NFD said they have all been notified.
NFD are on scene making sure the roof does not blow away and hit anything until a roofing company can get to the area and secure the roof.
NFD said they hope to get the structure secured before the rain moves in so there is no water damage later on.
