Before Tom Brady arrived at Fox to broadcast NFL games with Kevin Burkhardt, Burkhardt was paired with Greg Olsen as the network’s No. 1 broadcast team, a duo fans widely enjoyed.
Burkhardt and Olsen will reunite Saturday on Fox, calling the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles, a series of exhibition games featuring their Fox colleague Tom Brady returning to the field alongside active NFL players.
Brady’s team will include Jalen Hurts and be coached by Sean Payton. A second team will feature Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow, coached by Kyle Shanahan. A third team will add some competitive juice to the showcase and feature players from USA Football’s Men’s National Team, the reigning flag world champions and longtime flag players potentially competing with NFL players (present and past) for spots on a would-be U.S. Olympic team in 2028.
The game was originally supposed to be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Geopolitical events in the Middle East forced the game’s relocation to L.A., where it will be played at BMO Stadium, site of the flag football competition for the 2028 Summer Olympics in L.A. The game is scheduled to air from 4 p.m. ET to 8:30 p.m. ET.
Burkhardt and Olsen called Super Bowl LVII together for Fox. In 2025, Burkhardt and Brady called Super Bowl LIX.
