Miley Cyrus throws it back with Hannah Montana songs. Will she tour?

Hannah Montana has taken the limo out front and is ready to have the world chanting “oh-whoa.”

A March 17 trailer for the Disney+”Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” showed Miley Cyrus embodying her blonde alter ego for the first time in decades, performing two songs that brought fans back to the early 2000s.

This, of course, included “Best of Both Worlds,” the theme song for the Disney Channel sitcom, which ran from 2006 to 2011. She also performed “The Climb,” the powerhouse ballad featured in the 2009 feature film “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

The trailer also featured throwback footage of the “Flowers” singer as her series character, several magazine covers she appeared on, a convertible with the license plate “HM 20” and a studio lot of the house her character lived in.

“We have so many shared memories. We actually grew up together,” Cyrus Cyrus tells the crowd in the trailer. “I loved being Hannah then, I’m so living for it now.”

Miley Cyrus is also heard telling her real-life and TV father, Billy Ray Cyrus, “love you,” to which he responds, “best of both worlds.” The trailer also teased an interview between the Grammy-winner and “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper.

Will Miley Cyrus tour as Hannah Montana?

Cyrus and Disney have not announced plans for a Hannah Montana tour.

The “Party In the U.S.A.” singer has previously explained why she has not toured since her 2014 “Bangerz” world tour.

In a May 2023 interview with British Vogue, she said that while she enjoys performing for her friends, “singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love.”

“There’s no connection. There’s no safety,” Cyrus told the outlet. “It’s also not natural. It’s so isolating because if you’re in front of 100,000 people, then you are alone.”
