In his post on his blog he has also mentioned that regular intake of neem helps maintain a healthy digestive system, strengthens the immune system and liver function, helps maintain a good metabolism, helps maintain a healthy respiratory system, and has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, antiseptic & antifungal properties. It also supports healthy blood sugar levels, blood purification & detoxification of the overall body. They also help in boosting the digestive system during the seasonal change. They destroy the excess bacteria in the intestinal region and cleanses the colon. According to a study, neem and its active constituents have antioxidant properties, aid cancer management by regulating tumor suppressor genes and molecular pathways, and show anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic effects. At core, these effects are mainly linked to neem leaf and seed extracts.
