Nicholas Hoult’s Wife Bryana Holly Responds to Body-Shamers Outraged by Her 2026 Oscars Afterparty Dress

Bryana Holly has something to say.

The model and wife of Warm Bodies actor Nicholas Hoult took to her Instagram Stories with a short, but powerful clapback in response to the commentary about their outing at the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty on Sunday, March 15.

After the star-studded event, Holly, 32, shared a series of pictures from their glam evening, mostly of their outfits, and it appears as though the carousel garnered criticism from body-shamers, because Holly later called out the “comments” pointing out the look of her “chest” in her black dress.

“Not that * anyone * is owed an explanation , but this is the product of a breastfeeding mother who hasn’t fed her babies in hours ok! If you know then you know,” she wrote.

Holly wore a dress by sustainable brand, Lurelly, that showed a hint of sideboob. Hoult, 36, wore an all-black suit to coordinate.

The glam outing was rare for the couple, who’ve managed to keep their relationship and family life out of the public eye.

After Hoult appeared at the Governors Awards in November 2024 rumors began to surface about the couple’s marriage after he referred to Holly as his “wife.” Days later, he confirmed to PEOPLE that they secretly tied the knot, saying, “I feel like it’s fairly clear from my comments.”

In 2018, the pair welcomed their first child together, a boy Joaquin, before having their second child, whose name and sex have yet to be revealed.

Hoult and Holly previously stepped out together for the Nosferatu premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 12, 2024.
