South Western Railway makes changes to online ticketing which may affect your travel

If you have bought a ticket online there may be some important steps you need to take for your ticket to be vaild to travel
South Western Railway has announced they are makng changes to their website and app. Customers who have already bought tickets on the app before 25 March will have to load their existing e-tickets or smartcard tickets and reset their password.
‘On 26 March we’re making changes to our booking engine on both our website and app. Following this, some functionality will be temporarily out of action whilst our teams work on some important upgrades, but it will be back with you shortly’, they say.
To ensure you can travel, if you have tickets already purchased before 25 March for future travel there are some important steps to follow. Tickets bought or collected from SW Railways ticket offices or validators are not affected by the change.
Customers can continue to use the website as they normally would; but for those who have already installed the South Western Railway app, you will need to update this in either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and follow the instructions to reset your password and login to your account.
