Bernardo Silva is wanted by Juventus, and they are willing to go all-out for the Portuguese playmaker.The last few years have seen the playmaker linked with a move away, mainly to Barcelona, but it seems that the Serie A side see Silva as the man to relaunch their tilt at the title.

Tottenham and Aston Villa target Senesi

Tottenham and Aston Villa have entered the race to sign Marcos Senesi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.The publication claims that, although Juventus have submitted an offer to sign the Bournemouth centre-back, they face competition from Spurs and Villa while Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are also thought to be monitoring the situation. 

Senesi is said to be wanting a contract worth between €4 million (£3.4m) and €5m (£4.3m) per season.

The publication claims: ”Since last January, Juventus have been making decisive moves to land Marcos Senesi. 

”The Argentine defender, born in 1997, is out of contract with Bournemouth, and the Bianconeri have already sent their first written offer to his entourage, seeking a salary of between €4 and €5 million per season. 
”A left-footed defender, physically strong but also adept at building up the attack and coming out from the back, he would be the ideal candidate for [Luciano] Spalletti, but the competition is fierce: Tottenham, Aston Villa, Barcelona, ​​and Borussia Dortmund are also interested.”

Michel ‘ready’ to take over from Guardiola

Speaking to La Otra Grada, Girona head coach Michel Sanchez said he feels ready to succeed Pep Guardiola at Manchester City should the opportunity arise.

Sanchez said: “I do see myself as ready [to coach City], I see myself ready to coach any team. I don’t know if they [City] see it that way.

Inter sporting director in London for Vicario talks

As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Internazionale sporting director Piero Ausilio travelled to London to begin laying the groundwork for the club’s potential summer acquisition of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Ausilio traveled to the UK to establish initial contact with the Spurs shot-stopper, who has emerged as a top target to replace the soon-to-be out of contract Yann Sommer. 

Inter are also said to be interested in Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez.

Di Marzio’s report claims: ”The trip was useful not only to follow the matches up close, but also for a series of meetings and initial contacts ahead of the summer transfer window.

Vicario taking ‘lots of positives’ from Spurs second-leg win over Atleti

AC Milan offer Modric new deal

AC Milan coach Max Allegri has said that the Rossoneri have offered 40-year-old midfielder Luka Modric a new contract. 

Modric joined Milan from Real Madrid last summer and has since made 28 Serie A appearances, scoring two goals and registering three assists.

The coach stated, via Fabrizio Romano: “We haven’t discussed it yet. It’s Luka’s decision, and we’re waiting for his answer.

“Luka has contributed his technical skills, but above all his human and professional qualities, to the entire environment and the team, especially the younger players. 

“Seeing a 40-year-old man with this passion is incredible, and it generates enthusiasm.”
