Australian stocks fell, nearing a technical correction as investors’ anxieties over the Iran war hit the country’s commodity-rich market.
The S&P/ASX 200 index dropped as much as 2% on Monday, at one point taking its losses from its March 2 peak to 10%. Most sectors declined as miners and banks dragged.
