Jey Uso called the play, and Roman Reigns ran it

How would WWE follow up on CM Punk punching Roman Reigns for calling him “old” last week?

Well, for his part, the world heavyweight champion came to Monday Night Raw in Boston and tried his best to take ownership of it, even claiming to be proud that he’s old and still at his best. I don’t think it came across well after what happened last week — a bit more like this tweet, if you ask me — but it’s what they did.

Where it got a bit more interesting is in The Usos once again getting involved. Jey came out to confront Punk himself, Jimmy tried to stop it, and Reigns sent them both away. When Punk wouldn’t shut up, Jey rushed him, got himself laid out, and Jimmy and Roman took up for him.

Then, Jey went ahead and did it — he called the play. He told Reigns it was time to “GET HIM!”

And Reigns ran that play.

Reigns speared Punk and then put him through the announcer’s table. It appeared, then, that he had the upper hand. But, no different than last week when Reigns laughed off Punk’s aggression, it was Punk who got the last laugh, telling officials he needed no help because, indeed, he’s not the one who needs help.

Do you like where this is headed as we get closer and closer to the main event of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas?
