Nigerian artist Davido is set to headline his first outdoor festival in Crystal Palace this summer
Afrobeats superstar Davido will be coming to London this summer, promising one of his biggest shows as part of his world tour. This will be his first headline outdoor festival at Crystal Palace Bowl. Davido & Friends, as the title suggests, will see Davido showcase his 15-year career in one amazing night with surprise guests. The show will take place on August 14.
London has nearly 3 million of Davido’s 31 million Instagram followers – his biggest European market by far. He has several well-known songs, including ‘Feel’ and ‘Unavailable’. The single ‘Offa Me’ reached the top 5 on both the UK and US Afrobeats charts,
The show is part of his 5IVE Alive tour, which will see him appear across Africa, Europe and America, including Coachella, showing that this year will be a big one for the African superstar. There will be special guests, Iyanya and Ecoool, as the tour aims to bring together a dynamic celebration of Afrobeats, reflecting both Davido’s journey and the genre’s continued global rise

Crystal Palace Bowl is an iconic destination spanning 60 years of history. Iconic musicians such as Bob Marley, Elton John, The Cure, Jimmy Cliff and Gil Scott Heron, to name a few, have all taken to the stage at the 8,000 capacity bowl.
As well as Davido’s show, this summer at Crystal Palace Bowl is shaping up to be a big one, with the likes of Tom Jones and Grace Scott also playing there.

Davido tickets will be going live on general sale this Friday, March 27 at 10am. These will be available via Ticketmaster or Live Nation. You can also sign up for Live Nation pre-sale tickets.
