‘Stand with Dalilah’ truck makes stop in Oklahoma on its way to Washington, D.C.

Proponents of Dalilah’s Law gathered at the state capitol on Wednesday.

Dalilah’s Law is proposed federal legislation that would strengthen commercial driver standards. The law would prohibit states from issuing CDLs to drivers who do not meet legal status requirements.

The law would also require English proficiency tests for drivers and limit eligibility to U.S. citizens and specific work visa holders.

The proposed legislation is named after a 5-year-old who was severely injured when a semi-truck driven by Partap Singh crashed into her family’s vehicle in California. Dalilah was left with life-altering injuries.

OHP troopers posed with the ‘Stand with Dalilah’ truck at the state capitol on Wednesday. According to OHP, Oklahoma was chosen as the first stop for the truck because the state was the first to take action by passing the Oklahoma Secure Roads and Safe Trucking Act in 2025.

Since last fall, OHP has been initiating targeted enforcement operations through Operation Guardian to identify and stop illegal immigrants driving large commercial vehicles through Oklahoma.

Since September 2025, troopers have removed 500 illegal immigrants driving semi-trucks from the roads.

The next stop for the ‘Stand with Dalilah’ truck is Louisville, Kentucky. It will then make its way to Washington, D.C.
