Madison Beer just reminded the internet she is that girl, and fans (plus a few famous friends) are still recovering. The singer dropped a steamy mirror selfie that’s both casual and jaw-dropping, rocking a fitted graphic tee with a barely-there thong peeking through. And while the post itself was simple, the reaction was anything but.

Beer Gets Real About Mental Health And Self-Love
Beyond the glam and viral moments, Beer has also been open about the work she’s doing behind the scenes to stay grounded. “I hope I can just keep growing in a healthy way and maintain self-love and try to uphold my mental health,” she told Interview Magazine. “I still struggle to this day, and it’s something that I have to work on every day.”
Beer added, “I have to try and set boundaries and protect myself. I just really hope for the next year and the years to come that I can just continue to prioritize that and be happy and healthy and try to just focus.”
Madison Beer Admits Her ‘Healthy Habits’ Are Changing Her Routine
Beer also got candid about the lifestyle shifts she’s been trying to make, even if they’re not exactly rockstar-coded. “[Laughs] Habits that I’m trying to quit? Honestly, there’s nothing that I really have to quit currently,” Beer said.
She went on to admit that she is “trying, boring answer, sorry, in advance, to drink more water. I’m trying to go to bed earlier. But now it’s kind of kicking me in the ass because I literally can’t stay awake past 10:00 PM.”
Beer’s Early Bedtime Era Hits Hard
She even shared a recent moment that proved just how much things have changed. “Last night I got dinner with my friends and we were like, ‘Oh, let’s go at 7:00,’” she recalled. “They were like, ‘Oh, let’s go in the hot tub after.’ It was 9:30 when dinner ended and I was like, ‘Guys, I’m going to bed.’”
The singer admitted, “I used to stay up till four in the morning, so that is a new habit and I don’t even know if I like it.”
Madison Beer Says She’s Not Looking Back On Her Teenage Years
While the internet has been busy romanticizing 2016, Beer made it clear she’s not exactly itching to go back. “Yeah, I’ve seen it,” she said of the trend, before adding, “I definitely feel way better in my life now than I did then.”
Sure, she can appreciate the nostalgia, from the music to the viral moments, but for her, it’s not that deep. “There are nostalgic moments from 2016, the music and the Snapchat filters and the mannequin challenge and whatever, all that stuff that I think is really funny,” she continued. “But as someone who did not have the best time in my teenage years, I definitely prefer to stay in the now, honestly.”
