Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg: Education Secretary Phillipson being quizzed – watch and follow live

Energy prices the hot topic on this week’s Kuenssbergpublished at 10:00 BST
That’s a wrap on this week’s Sunday with Laura Kunessberg, where energy prices formed a large part of each interview.
It comes as wholesale oil and gas prices have soared during the US-Israel war with Iran.
Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson said the government “will act to protect consumers” if energy prices rise, echoing comments from Chancellor Rachel Reeves.
Earlier this week, Reeves said the government plans to help “those who need it most” if energy bills spiral.
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch hit out at Labour’s decision to ban new licences for new oil and gas fields in the region.
She told Kuenssberg that “saying no to North Sea oil and gas is a bad decision”.
Reform UK’s home affairs spokesperson Zia Yusuf said Reform is calling on this Labour government “to reverse energy policies put in place by the previous Tory government”, including green levies and VAT.
We’ll shortly be ending our live coverage, but we’ll be back for the next instalment of Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.
