Chris Eubank Jr revealed he has become a dad to twin boys but has never divulged who the mother is and keeps his private life to himself

Chris Eubank Jr refuses to disclose details of his private life – including the mother of his child – after being raised on the front pages.
Eubank Jr revealed on Tuesday that he is now a dad to twin boys, five months after telling the world he was going to be a father. He did so days before his defeat by Conor Benn in their rematch which settled a family rivalry more than 30 years after their dads shared a ring.
Eubank Jr keeps his private life to himself and has not released details of his relationship after seeing his parents’ divorces splashed all over the news. “My private life should be private, that’s how I have always seen it,” he said last year. “What people don’t know and what people don’t see, they cannot target, they cannot ruin, they cannot try to interfere with. There’s no benefit, in my opinion, to exposing private relationships to the world.

“What benefits are there? If you go out and look at all these high-profile relationships, how many of them last? How many of them don’t end up on the front page of the newspapers? Cheating, scandal, divorce, whatever it is, social media does nothing but ruin relationships.
“I saw that from very early on, I experienced it with my mother and father. Their split was very public and it was hard to watch and it was embarrassing. Everybody knew that my parents were getting divorced and I knew, from that age, that – whatever relationship I got into – I wasn’t going to make it public. It’s unnecessary. It’s not like I am hiding it. I just chose not to throw it out there.”

Eubank Jr was outpointed by Benn seven months after winning the first fight with his bitter rival. He has since sought medical treatment for a undisclosed medical condition and is planning to return to the ring later this year.
Benn, meanwhile, will be in action next weekend on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. Benn recently shocked the boxing world by leaving Eddie Hearn to sign a $15million one-fight deal with UFC CEO Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
