Donald Trump Shares Rendering Of His Presidential Library Plans

Donald Trump has unveiled a video rendering of his presidential library, a skyscraper proposed for downtown Miami.
Like many of his buildings, the name “Trump” is emblazoned on the top. The rendering also shows space for a decommissioned Air Force One, something that is featured at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. The government of Qatar gifted a 747 that will be retrofitted to be used as Air Force One, and would later go to Trump’s library foundation, per Reuters and other news outlets.

Other plans showed a large theater with a giant gold statue of Trump, raising his fist, as well as another statue above a main entrance; a gold escalator; and re-creations of parts of the White House.
Eric Trump, the president’s son, wrote on X, “This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known.”
The library is being built on three acres on Biscayne Boulevard, which the Miami-Dade College Board of Trustees voted to transfer to the state of Florida, which is giving the land to the library foundation, per CBS News.
The renderings also include a shot of Trump’s proposed White House ballroom, which is set to come before the National Capitol Planning Commission on Thursday. A federal judge is expected to issue his decision soon on whether to halt the project after the National Trust for Historic Preservation sued, alleging that the ballroom has not gone through required review.
