Is Cade Cunningham playing today? Pistons vs Raptors prediction, injuries

Jalen Duren reacts to Daniss Jenkins’ career game for Pistons vs Lakers

Jalen Duren on Daniss Jenkins, who scored 30 points to lift Pistons over Lakers, March 23, 2026. “Every time his number’s been called he’s performed.”

The Detroit Pistons, down four starters, fell just short in overtime on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night. They will be back on the floor in less than 24 hours, at home on Tuesday, March 31.

They host the Toronto Raptors at Little Caesars Arena, and can clinch the Central Division for the first time since the 2007-08 season with a victory. (They can also clinch with a Cleveland Cavaliers loss; the Cavs face the Lakers late on Tuesday). A win would also give the Pistons (54-21) the fifth 55-win season in franchise history, and first since that 2007-08 season, which was also the last time the franchise won a playoff series.

The Pistons’ magic number to clinch the 1-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs is three over the second-place Boston Celtics. The Celtics are idle Tuesday.

The Raptors will catch the Pistons without All-Star guard Cade Cunningham, who suffered a collapsed lung injury and will miss his seventh straight game. The Pistons are 5-2 without him. Daniss Jenkins, the former two-way player, will again start at point guard.

Jalen Duren (right knee injury management), Tobias Harris (left hip) and Duncan Robinson (right hip) will all return after missing Monday’s game in Oklahoma City. The Pistons remain without standout backup Isaiah Stewart (calf) for a tenth straight game.

The Raptors will be without starting point guard Immanuel Quickley (right foot plantar fascitis).
