Mavericks’ Daniel Gafford ruled out for remainder of Bucks matchup with shoulder injury

The Dallas Mavericks once again have a Daniel Gafford injury to monitor.

The veteran center left Tuesday’s meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks with 2:52 left in the second quarter. According to the Mavericks, Gafford was ruled out for the rest of the game with a right shoulder stinger.

Gafford went down after blocking a shot from Milwaukee’s Ryan Rollins. Gafford was down on the court for a brief moment before he was helped to the locker room by Mavericks trainers. The team ruled the center out at the halftime break.

Gafford finished the game with seven points, four rebounds and a block. He’s dealt with multiple injuries throughout the season, suffering a right shoulder contusion against the Golden State Warriors on March 23.
