Final Injury Report for Spurs-Warriors: Will Stephen Curry, Kristaps Porzingis Play?

The Golden State Warriors are at home on Wednesday night as they host the San Antonio Spurs in a Western Conference matchup.
Golden State enters Wednesday’s game with a 36-39 record after losing on the road to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.

In Sunday’s loss to the Nuggets, Brandin Podziemski led the way for the Warriors as he recorded 23 points and five rebounds while Kristaps Porzingis added 23 points and three rebounds of his own.
Now Golden State will try to bounce back on Wednesday as they face off against the Spurs in a tough home matchup.
On the other side, San Antonio enters Wednesday’s contest with a 57-18 record after defeating the Chicago Bulls at home on Monday night.

Victor Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 41 points, 16 rebounds, four assists and three blocks while Stephon Castle recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Spurs Injury Report: Will Luke Kornet Play?
For the Spurs, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center Luke Kornet.

San Antonio has ruled out Kornet due to right knee injury management as they will elect to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back.
With Kornet sidelined, Mason Plumlee and Kelly Olynyk could both be in line for increased roles off the bench.

On the other side, the Warriors have nine players listed on their injury report, including both Stephen Curry and Kristaps Porzingis.

Golden State has ruled out Curry due to a right knee injury that has sidelined him since Feb. 3, though it was reported on Tuesday that the superstar guard is targeting a return on Sunday against the Houston Rockets.
The Warriors have also ruled out Porzingis due to illness management as they will elect to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back.

Horford has also been ruled out due to a right soleus strain while De’Anthony Melton will be sidelined with a left thumb sprain.
Quentin Post has been ruled out due to foot soreness while Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler are both set to miss the remainder of the season.
Gui Santos has been listed as questionable due to a right pelvic contusion while Gary Payton II is questionable due to knee injury management.
