PERi-PERi Saka is finally back. The sauce fans first went wild for in 2024, hits the Nando’s Sauce Station today, in the UK and Ireland. And over the next few months, things get even saucier…
Nando’s and Saka go way back, and now the team have paired up again to bring back the sweet, fiery sauce which fans have been crying out for. What’s the taste? It combines Saka’s favourite flavours – tomato and BBQ and it comes with a little (free) kick thanks to Nando’s iconic PERi-PERi. As for spice level, it sits at a Medium on the PERi-ometer.
PERi-PERi Saka first stole hearts (and tastebuds) two years ago, building a cult following across the globe. The sauce was so in demand, fans were booking flights from other countries to try it, stealing bottles from restaurants, and placing bids for it on eBay.

Following daily demands from fans that it returns, PERi-PERi Saka is finally back in Nando’s restaurants across the UK & IRE. And very soon, it’s coming home. The legendary sauce is set to hit shelves in UK retailers in the coming months. Plus, with a big summer of football ahead, PERi-PERi Saka will be subbing in on the Nando’s menu as a guest spice too. So not only will you be able to add it to your go-to orders, you’ll also be able to enjoy it from the sofa in all your favourite recipes.
“I’m very happy with the sauce and the love it received first time round,”says Saka. “I always knew I wanted to bring it back and now it’s finally time, and fans will be able to get even more of it this time too. Nando’s is one of my happy places. I have so many good memories with friends and family there, and I know they will all be excited now that the sauce is back, and everyone can enjoy it again!”
To mark the release of his culinary debut in 2024, Saka proved he could stand the heat and stepped into the kitchen as head chef in a playful launch ad. To bring back PERi-PERi Saka even bigger than before, the winger has scaled up his operation. In the fast-paced launch film revealed this morning on Nando’s Instagram, we see the Starboy in the distribution warehouse masterfully overseeing the sauce logistics to ensure the perfect delivery for his fans.
The PERi-PERi Saka bottle has become iconic in its own right, too. Designed by artist Reuben Dangoor, the bold colours and illustrations are the perfect partner for the celebrated sauce and have already been seen on posters in North London, and lorries across Birmingham and Manchester, teasing its comeback.
