Ice Chips: Golden Knights’ Hart to start tonight vs. Flames

Head coach John Tortorella confirms that Carter Hart will return to tonight and get the start in goal as the Golden Knights take on the Calgary Flames.
Hart last started on January 8 against the Columbus Blue Jackets due to a lower-body injury.
In 12 starts this season, he has a 5-3-3 record with a 3.28 goals-against average and an .871 save percentage.
Montreal Canadiens
Jacob Fowler will likely get the start in net Thursday as the Montreal Canadiens take on the New York Rangers in the fourth contest of their five-game road trip. He last started on Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators.
The 21-year-old rookie has started 14 games this season, recording a 7-5-2 record with a 2.59 goals-against average and .903 save percentage.
Jakub Dobes got each of the past two starts for the Canadiens in wins over the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Centre Phillip Danault was absent from practice and Patrik laine practiced on the fourth line in his place.

Defenceman Jake Sanderson will not return for tonight’s tilt against the Buffalo Sabres but he did participate in practice in a non-contact jersey. The team feels he is close and the hope is that he returns this weekend for the back-to-back games against the Minnesota Wild and Carolina Hurricanes.
Linus Ullmark will get the start.
“Easy, he’s our guy. To be honest, last game, I mean I pulled him but I pulled him more because the team was so sh—-. Not because of him,” head coach Travis Green said on his decision to start Ullmark tonight.
Rookie defenceman Carter Yakenchuk will not play, as he is in concussion protocol.

Morgan barron joined the team on the road and skated ina regular jersey as he continues to reocver from a concussion. He skated on a line with Isak Rosen and Parker Ford.
Nino Niederreiter and Vladislav Namestnikov also skated in regular jerseys but were with the extras and did not practice on a regular line.
