With the season underway, it’s worth noting that former Nationals World Series Champion Patrick Corbin is still a free agent.

He is available to be signed by any team in the MLB.

Corbin is coming off a year where he went 7-11 with a 4.40 ERA in 31 games for the Texas Rangers.

Corbin was picked in the second round of the 2009 MLB Draft.

He spent the first six seasons of his career playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In that span, Corbin made two MLB All-Star Games.

During the 2018 season, he went 11-7 with a 3.15 ERA in 33 games.

The Arizona Diamondbacks (wrote on August 27, 2018): “Patrick Corbin is the 6th pitcher in #Dbacks history to reach the 200-strikeout mark.”

Following his strong run with Arizona, Corbin signed with the Nationals.

He spent six years with the franchise, helping them win the 2019 World Series Championship.

Over 373 career games, Corbin has gone 110-142 with a 4.51 ERA.

At 36, he could still be a pitcher that provides depth to a lot of clubs around the MLB.
