Arsenal saw their quadruple dreams shattered ahead of the international break by Manchester City – who beat the Gunners in the Carabao Cup final – but they have the chance at the treble.

Southampton stand in their way of another trip to Wembley for the semi-finals of the FA Cup, and one Eurovision star will be keeping an eye on the clash hoping her partner can do the unthinkable.

Daniel Peretz and Noa Kirel are almost inseparable these days, but there was a time when the shot-stopper first clapped eyes on the beauty on his TV screen as she performed at Eurovision.

Noa was Israel’s representative for the 2023 edition, which took place in Liverpool – and she’s since been dubbed as one of Israel’s most famous celebrities.

She has even been called one half of Israel’s Posh and Becks alongside Peretz. And speaking about her fame, the Southampton star said: “In Israel it’s really nice as we get a lot of love from all the people. I’m really blessed.

“Who has the higher profile? She does, definitely. I think she’s the most famous person in Israel.”

He added: “We got together just a few months after Eurovision.

“When I watched the Eurovision, I said: ‘Wow, I want her to be my wife, she’s the most beautiful woman in the world.’”

Noa is often seen on the South Coast, but she splits her time between Southampton and Tel Aviv. Peretz also has family in the city, which has come under attack from Iranian missiles.

The Israel international said: “It’s not easy because we have a lot of sirens there and you have to be in the bunker or in the safe rooms.

“It’s not always easy to do this separation in life and you are worried a lot about what’s happening. They are always following the instructions and I’m in touch with them always.

“They also help me a lot. They give me a lot of confidence and they’re trying to keep me focused 100 per cent on football and doing what I want and giving me all the secure feeling for the situation.

“Football for me is a really good therapy. It’s where my mind can focus. I love this profession so much and I love this game so much. When I’m here, it really helps me know that I’m focusing on my targets.

“I know also how much the people in Israel follow me and when I’m having good games and good periods, how important it is for them and what it means for them.

“I’m really happy that I have the right to influence in this kind of way. I know that my best thing to do is just focus on football, doing my best and it will influence much more people than I think it does.”
