Miami Heat Make Tyler Herro Announcement Before Wizards Game

On Saturday afternoon, the Miami Heat will play the Washington Wizards (at home) in Florida.

Most recently, the Heat lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 147-129.

Tyler Herro finished the loss with 18 points, three rebounds, seven assists and one block while shooting 5/15 from the field and 4/10 from three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.

For Saturday’s game, the Heat have announced that Herro is listed as probable.

Herro is in the middle of another very strong season with averages of 21.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 38.2% from three-point range in 30 games.

He is in his seventh season in the NBA (all with Miami).

Heat Ahead Of Wizards Visit To Miami

The Heat enter play as the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-37 record in 77 games.

They are in the middle of a cold streak, going just 2-8 over their last ten.

At home, the Heat have gone 24-15 in 39 games at Kaseya Center.

Following their showdown with the Wizards, the Heat will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they travel to Canada to play the Toronto Raptors.

The Heat are coming off a year where they got swept by Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

They reached the NBA Finals in 2020 and 2023.

Wizards Among NBA’s Worst

The Wizards have had a very challenging year where they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-59 record in 76 games.

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak (and have lost nine out of ten).

After their visit the Miami, the Wizards will head to Brooklyn for a showdown with the Nets on Sunday at Barclays Center.
