Easter has arrived, and whether you are hosting the holiday festivities at home or traveling to meet up with friends and family elsewhere, shoppers should have some options if they need to make a last-minute trip to the grocery store.
Some restaurants, grocery stores, and national retailers will be closed on Sunday, April 5. Banks, post offices, shipping services, and the stock market will also be closed on Easter.
Walmart will be an option for shoppers, as its store will remain open under regular hours on Easter. Most Walmart locations are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

- Most stores in the Kroger family of companies will be open on Sunday (Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Foods Co, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Jay C Food Store, King Soopers, Kroger, Mariano’s, Metro Market, Pay-Less Super Markets, Pick’n Save, QFC, Ralphs, Ruler, Smith’s Food and Drug).

- Harris Teeter
- Most Albertson’s banner stores will be open on Easter (Safeway, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, ACME, Vons and Tom Thumb).
