New UFC 327 main card revealed after Joshua Van vs. Tatsuro Taira cancelled

There’s a new main card for UFC 327 after the flyweight title fight between Joshua Van and Tatsuro Taira was scrapped and rescheduled for UFC 328 in May.
It’s unfortunate news for the April 11 show in Miami after Van was forced out of his first title defense, but it appears the 125-pound champion won’t be sidelined for too long with the fight re-booked just a month later for the May 9 co-main event.
With Van vs. Taira off the card, the light heavyweight showdown between Azamat Murzakanov and Paulo Costa is now scheduled as the UFC 327 co-main event.
The main event remains the same as Jiri Prochazka battles Carlos Ulberg to crown a new light heavyweight champion after Alex Pereira vacated his belt to move to heavyweight. Prochazka previously held the 205-pound belt and now seeks to become a two-time champion when he faces Ulberg on Saturday in Miami.
Heavyweights Curtis Blaydes and Josh Hokit are also part of the main card at UFC 327. A perennial contender in the division, Blaydes returns after a knee injury kept him sidelined for several months while Hokit takes his biggest step up in competition after a strong start to his UFC career.
Dominick Reyes takes on Johnny Walker in the third light heavyweight fight scheduled for UFC 327.
Finally, Cub Swanson takes on Nate Landwehr in the new main card opener. The fight is expected to serve as Swanson’s retirement bout after a long and entertaining career primarily spent competing in the UFC and WEC.
