Liverpool city centre cordon further extended after man ‘threatened with gun’ – live updates

Merseyside Police confirmed a man has been arrested after it was reported a man had been threatened with a gun.

There were reports of a fight in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of this morning, Monday April 6.

Police were called around 4.45am following reports of a fight between two men close to Clayton Square during which it was reported one man threatened the other with a firearm.
