Zendaya snubbed posing alongside co-star Sydney Sweeney
Zendaya appeared to snub her Euphoria co-star Sydney Sweeney at the premiere of the third season of the show.
The Spider-Man star was seen posing for solo photos only at the Los Angeles screening held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday, April 7. Zendaya, 29, did not pose in a single image alongside Sydney, 28, at the event, instead choosing to stand on the red carpet for her snaps by herself.
Dressed in a striking black backless halterneck dress Zendaya smouldered as she posed for photographers, showing off a glamorous smokey-eyed makeup look and wearing her new shorter hair in a sleek tousled style. Sydney meanwhile was seen wearing in a figure-hugging white mini dress with an attached cape as she posed for pictures, including alongside her co-stars.

Sydney was captured in images alongside Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, as well as Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer and Alexa Demie. Jacob Elordi also appeared to snub posing in any pictures alongside any of his co-stars aside from Maude.
Sydney has been rumored to be embroiled in a bitter feud with Zendaya for several months now, after her support for President Donald Trump and over claims that her American Eagle jeans commercial was racist. Claims previously suggested the pair wouldn’t even stand next to one another at events.
Zendaya was only seen posing alone on the red carpet
Zendaya was reportedly left upset by Sydney’s views and has been “refusing” to do press calls with her for the upcoming third season of Euphoria, which will hit screens on April 12 on HBO. One insider recently claimed to the Daily Mail, “It’s no wonder she’s refusing to do it.
“It’s a difficult position for Zendaya to be in because if she even stands next to Sydney on the red carpet, it can be read as her excusing Sydney’s views on Trump and her refusal to apologize for the racist ad.”
Sydney Sweeney was not seen anywhere near Zendaya, fueling their feud rumors
The long-awaited third season of Euphoria is thought to be the last despite the huge popularity of the series with viewers. The show has been off screens since February 2022.
A trailer for the series showed the characters five years after the events of Season 2. This time around, viewers will see Rue (Zendaya) in Mexico, owing money to dangerous drug dealer Laurie (Martha Kelly). Meanwhile, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are engaged, with Cassie exploring a new career on OnlyFans.
Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie and Maude Apatow did pose with Sydney at the event
Creator Sam Levinson previously teased major plot points, promising, “I will say that Cassie and Nate do in fact get married. I’m confirming it. And I promise that it will be an unforgettable night.”
Jules will be struggling in art school, while Maddy (Alexa Demie) works at a Hollywood talent agency and Lexi (Maude Apatow) has landed a job as assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.
The show will also see Eric Dane star as Nate’s dad Cal Jacobs as he completed filming for the series shortly before his death from ALS earlier this year at the age of 53.
