OKC Thunder forward Jalen Williams will play in a road game against the Los Angeles Clippers at 9 p.m. CT Wednesday.
Williams didn’t play in a 123-87 road win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday due to right hamstring injury management. But he’s back for OKC (63-16), which can secure the top seed in the Western Conference on Wednesday with either a win over the Clippers or a San Antonio Spurs loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Clippers (41-38) also have something to play for. They’re in the eighth spot with only a one-game lead over the Trail Blazers, meaning they’re on the verge of falling into the play-in tournament’s No. 9 vs. No. 10 seed game.

OKC has a clean injury report, and it also has plenty of motivation to win this game. It can secure the top seed in the Western Conference with a victory. I expect the Thunder to make life difficult for Kawhi Leonard with elite defenders such as Jalen Williams, Lu Dort and Alex Caruso available. And it’s hard to envision the Clippers keeping up on the scoreboard if that’s the case, especially with Darius Garland out. Give me OKC on the road.
