DELTA Police are requesting the public’s assistance in connection to a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday.
On April 11 at approximately 10 p.m., Delta Police responded to a report of a fatal motor vehicle collision northbound on the Alex Fraser Bridge where a motorcycle struck a semi-truck.
The 31-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on scene.
Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision at this time. The incident is still under investigation. Northbound lanes are closed while southbound lanes remain open.
Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage around the area of Alex Fraser Bridge between 9:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., is asked to contact Delta Police at 604-946-4411.
