The Clippers are coming off a year where they lost in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
That said, a healthy Leonard would give them a chance against most teams (if they can win their way through the play-in tournament).
Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints wrote (on Friday): “The Blazers just beat the Clippers, which means their head-to-head tiebreaker is now 2-2. Since Portland owns a better conference record, they move ahead of LA for the 8-seed. A Blazers win over the Kings on Sunday means they will play Phoenix in the 7 vs. 8 play-in game.”
